Hey everyone!
Just wrapped up our first dance session of the new semester, and it was certainly great to have all of you with us in DanceFuzion! Welcome to the DF family! =)

I hope you all had enjoyed the session just now as much as I did! I think everyone did a good job paying attention during session and giving their best to it, really!

By the way, the song title used for today's choreo is "Turns me on" by Big Boi! You can have fun by practising your steps at home, or just listening to the music and going through the steps in your mind, haha! As for those who didn't come for today's session but are interested, you are always welcome to drop in to any of our sessions when you're free! Here are a few practice updates for this week! And here's what to look forward to when we get back to school!

17th February 2010 (Wednesday) - Carol's Session resumes at 6.30-8.30pm at NIE Dance Room (NIE Block 5, Level 2!)

Yup, Carol's session resumes again this week! Do practise the steps to the previous dance routines if you have the time - the girls' hiphop routine, and maybe some other previous choreos if you know! If you don't, it's alright! It'll definitely be a fruitful class for all, and everyone is welcome, so do join us and bring your friends! :)

18th February 2010 (Thursday) - Beginners' Class

This week's Beginners' Class will be conducted by Willy, at 7.00 - 8.30pm at NIE Dance Room!

He'll be teaching us a choreography to a song by Michael Jackson!

The song will be used as part of our performance for the upcoming NIE 60th Anniversary Celebrations, so performers, please do try to make it for the session! :) but.... even if you're not interested in performing, please do come and learn the choreo together! Most importantly, let's have some fun! :)

I'm looking forward to seeing you all again after the short CNY break! :)

Hello there everyone!! :)

Hope you have all gotten home safely and had a nice shower and get ready for a good night's sleep! :) We are really glad to see a few more new friends who joined us for Carol's session tonight. It was a real pleasure to have all of you around, really. To Maria, Eunice and Nicole (hope I got all the spellings right), a big big welcome for you to DanceFuzion! Hope to see you again real soon! :)

So yup, do practise the steps on your own if you have the time! It's easier to remember and grasp the steps that way. Of course, if you can't really grasp all of it just yet, it's alright, just try and you'll get it soon! :)

Next on for this week:
Join us on Thursday 4th Feb 2010 for Beginners' Session with Chris, at 6.30pm-8.00pm at NIE Dance Room! The choreo we'll be learning will be used for the upcoming performance for NIE 60th Anniversary Celebrations (on 27th Feb), so do come down and learn if you're interested to perform. For those who don't, do come down and join us too and enjoy another dance session! Everyone is welcome! :)

Lastly to end the week, DanceFuzion will be performing for the NIE CNY Celebrations on Friday 5th February! It's organised by the CLEAR Club and will be held at the NIE U.iD, starting from 10.30am, and our performance will be at around 11am. Besides being able to enjoy the various performances catered for everyone, there will also be free goodie bags and lunch buffet for everyone! :)

Hey everyone! Wow, I felt Carol's session tonight was a fruitful one, helping us train not just on the choreography, but also many important basic techniques too which will definitely help us in dance. Hope everyone had the same sentiments, and enjoyed yourselves!

Was absolutely glad to see more new faces today too. A very warm welcome to DanceFuzion! :)

Anyway, here's the song title used for the choreo we danced to today (remember last week, we danced to two different songs, a slow one and another fast one? we did the slow one today.)

Next on, tomorrow (Wednesday 27th Jan 2010) is one of the practices for our NIE Chinese New Year Celebration Performance! For those who are performing, we'll see each other at the dance room at 6.30pm-8pm! :)

to join us for Beginners' Class, which will be conducted by Alvin! Hey everyone!

I'm so sorry for posting up the song title used during Carol's Session last Tuesday this late. I was wondering if the song was the right one! Well, if you happen to download or stream it for somewhere and it doesn't sound quite the same 3-fast-beats song, it could be that the one we had danced to was the edited version, but nevertheless, just try to recall the steps we've learned, and most of all, enjoy grooving to it! It is a great song!

Hello there!!

For those of you who were present on Thursday's session which was led by Chris, hope you'd enjoyed yourselves! It was certainly a challenging session with a fantastic choreo!

Give yourselves a BIG pat on the back! Remember, don't worry if you aren't to completely catch the steps, because the day's session was definitely not at beginner's level but more than that, so that we can all finish complete the entire choreo. Our usual sessions will be at a normal pace, so don't get discouraged, continue to come by and learn more moves and have fun!

Greetings! Hope all who had come for our dance session with Elson yesterday had enjoyed themselves thoroughly! It had been a great pleasure to see everyone again, and finally let the muscles move around after a long time being inactive!

Nice job everyone in keeping up with the choreo! Let's give ourselves a big pat on the back. Thanks to Elson too, for teaching us patiently and sharing another great choreo with us.

Another call for members to join us at our chalet, at Aloha Loyang, on 15th - 17th December! Our barbeque will be on the night of 16th December. Try to come at least for the Barbeque, to have fun and good food!

Regarding payment matters, don't worry because it'd just be for the days or events that you're present for.
