Greetings!

Today's the 31st of December, the last day of 2009. It has been a long, taxing year, but we made it! Juggling between schoolwork, social life, people, we also stuck with our passion for dance. It has certainly been wonderful with all of you in DanceFuzion!

Before we happily dive right into the new year, let's remember 2009 for all the great times it had...

Thank you for coming for practices even when you're bogged down with work or had your energy zapped at late evening classes...

Thank you for committing yourselves to DanceFuzion, its practices and performances even during the busiest, most stressful periods of university, and for some, work.

Thank you for being there with us for numerous events, ranging from performances, chalet, outings, and even (and especially!) the short post-dance dinner gatherings after our practice session.

We know that DanceFuzion would not have been able to achieve what it has today without you, and our events would not have been as fun without each and every one of you! So, THANK YOU for always being there with us and for us =)

Let's hope the next Semester will be a better one. For those who would have graduated after this semester, congratulations, and please do come back and join us whenever you can, as often as possible! You are always welcome in DF! =)

Season's Greetings to all DF members! How have you all been? I hope you all had a great, merry Christmas and hopefully you'll have a great New Year's Countdown... :)

I'm sure many of you are (again) itching to loosen those muscles and see your fellow friends once more! You will get the chance before the school starts. Here are the details for our next dance practice:

Dance Practice on 5th January 2010 (new year!) (That's on a Tuesday!)
Time: 11.30 am - 1 pm
Venue: NIE Dance Room (PE Block 5, Level 2, just beside the cardio room)

Everyone is welcome for the session, please do come and join us yeah! :)
This will also be a session of preparation for our performers for Parents' Day on 16th January 2010. :)

Last but not the least, if you have some free time on the 31st Dec and want to spend it on something fun, why not may your way down to Orchard Cineleisure for an exciting New Year's Countdown with performances by dancers from StudioWu... and a few of our DF friends! Let's show our love yeah! And just welcome the new year happily! :)

GREETINGS, dearest DanceFuzion members and friends! How have your holidays been so far? We really hope you're enjoying yourselves and spending your time fruitfully!

We'll be back in school in 4 weeks' time, specifically on Monday 11 Jan 2010!

Firstly, remember to keep on the lookout for the release of the results from the previous semester..

Secondly, as those of you in the Diploma, BA/BSc and BEd Part-Time Programmes would have done before, you would have to register for your courses prior to the commencement of the new semester.

Please check out the important details at the Teachers' Portal and note them down as soon as possible, as most of them would need your action on the specified dates and times. Sorry for not putting up the details here for fear that I may make some mistakes in the important details, or worse, mislead you!

Do make sure you would have registered for all of your courses, by checking your programme structures, taking note of the dates and timings for the tasks that require your action, and registering accordingly!

Hey everyone!! Hope you are enjoying your weekend to the fullest! :)

For those who were present for Chris's session the past Thursday, when we did Hip Hop A, you must be raring to go for the next session again! As for those who missed it, you must be itching to dance again too! Well, here it is! Our next dance session on Monday!

Details are as follows:

MTV Class by Chris
Date: 14th December 09 (Monday)
Venue: NIE Danceroom
Time: 11am - 12.30pm

All are welcome to join this session! The NIE Dance Room is just beside the Cardio Room, at Block 5 Level 2. Please try to be punctual, so that we can start learning the choreo earlier and have more time for practice! Hope to more of us then!

Once again, we're counting down to the days of our DanceFuzion chalet... that's just 3 more days to go! It'll be on 15th - 17th December at Aloha Loyang. Please try to join us, for it's true, the more the merrier! At least, try to come by the 16th, when we'll have our barbeque at night! :)

If you're coming over, please email us to confirm your attendance so that we can book enough food for all! The email regarding the details of the chalet will be sent out to you by this weekend, so check your emails guys!

Hello there!!

For those of you who were present on Thursday's session which was led by Chris, hope you'd enjoyed yourselves! It was certainly a challenging session with a fantastic choreo!

Give yourselves a BIG pat on the back! Remember, don't worry if you aren't to completely catch the steps, because the day's session was definitely not at beginner's level but more than that, so that we can all finish complete the entire choreo. Our usual sessions will be at a normal pace, so don't get discouraged, continue to come by and learn more moves and have fun!

The real song name is unknown, but this song is known to ourselves as "Hip Hop A".

The clean dance moves in Korean MTVs may seem really complicated, but with the help of our dance trainer Guan Chong to break down and teach us the steps, we were able to get it down pat at the end of Tuesday's session on 8th Dec 09!

Now that the exams are finally over for both NIE and NTU, we saw an increase in members coming back to dance, and we are GLAD! Hope you all had enjoyed yourselves!

Venue: NIE Dance Room
'Fess up, many of us like the Korean MTV dances on TV! Well, here's a chance to learn such a choreo yourselves! Come join us on Tuesday for a session conducted by our very own dance trainer, Guan Chong!

10th December (Thursday) - Dance Practice
Time: 11.30 am - 1.00 pm
Venue: NIE Dance Room
This session may be used for our own practice, and maybe to learn some new choreos! Just come over and join us, and find out what!

Our sessions are open to everyone, not just to our regular DanceFuzion members! So come on over, loosen up those muscles, exercise, have fun, and dance your hearts out!

Greetings! Hope all who had come for our dance session with Elson yesterday had enjoyed themselves thoroughly! It had been a great pleasure to see everyone again, and finally let the muscles move around after a long time being inactive!

Nice job everyone in keeping up with the choreo! Let's give ourselves a big pat on the back. Thanks to Elson too, for teaching us patiently and sharing another great choreo with us.

Another call for members to join us at our chalet, at Aloha Loyang, on 15th - 17th December! Our barbeque will be on the night of 16th December. Try to come at least for the Barbeque, to have fun and good food!

Regarding payment matters, don't worry because it'd just be for the days or events that you're present for.

Hey DanceFuzion members and everyone else in NIE!

First of all, CONGRATULATIONS on finishing the exams! How are you post-exam celebrations going? Hope you are enjoying yourselves, catching up on the sleep and feel the colour coming back to your face. :D

And I'm sure every one of us have felt the bones twitching ever since dance sessions have been paused for the exams. It has been weeks since the last dance session! Well, here's some great news to cure all that twitching...

A Dance Session on Thursday 3rd December 2009! Details as follows:

This session will be conducted by our very own experienced dance trainer, Elson Low!

Time: 11.00 - 12.30 pm

Venue: NIE DanceRoom (Level 2, Block 5, NIE, just beside the Cardio Room where we usually have Carol's sessions)

It's open to all, not just to the regular DF members! All are welcome, so just come over and join in the fun! :)
